Some rates of my competitors are missing. How is this possible?

In this article you can read about the possible reasons why competitor rates could be missing.

Possible reasons why competitor rates could be missing:

  • The competitor is not bookable anymore on the Online Travel Agent (OTA) of your choice. Please check your settings ("Allowed brands" & "Default OTA's") which OTA we use to retrieve the competitor rates and check if the competitor is bookable for that period on that OTA.
  • The competitor's room/bed/accommodation/tent type is not available for the default number of persons according to your settings ("Default no. of persons") in RevControl.
  • The competitor only offers a non-refundable or flexible price, which differs from your settings. Please compare the available competitor price to your own settings ("Default rate") in RevControl.
  • The competitor only offers a price including or excluding breakfast, which differs from your settings. Please compare the available competitor price to your own settings ("Default meal plan") in RevControl.
  • The competitor only offers a price with a certain minimum length of stay (MinLOS), which differs from your settings. Per default, only LOS1, LOS2 and LOS3 are retrieved. If a longer LOS (Length Of Stay) is needed, please contact our Customer Success team.
  • The competitor only offers a type which is excluded, please contact our Customer Success team to check this.
