Compare history actuals/actuals report
The Compare History Actuals / Actuals report compares actual performance between two periods to gain insight into changes and trends, supporting you in optimizing your strategy.
The Compare History Actuals / Actuals report in RevControl provides a detailed comparison of actual performance (Actuals) between two different periods. For example, you can compare the results of a specific day this year with the same day last year, or any other selected periods.
Where to find it
You can find the Compare History Actuals / Actuals report under Reports > Compare History > Actuals / Actuals in RevControl.
Access to this report may require a manager or admin role, depending on your organization's RevControl permissions settings.
What you see in the Compare History Actuals / Actuals report
This report is divided into three tables:
- Historical Actuals: The first table shows the performance data from the selected historical period, such as booked nights, revenue, occupancy rate, and average daily rate (ADR).
- Recent Actuals: Shows the same performance data for your more recent selected period.
- Actuals Comparison: Displays the differences between the two periods. Positive differences appear in green (improved performance); negative differences appear in red (declined performance).
How to use the Compare History Actuals / Actuals report
- Select Periods: Choose two different periods to compare, such as the same day or month from the previous year and this year.
- Analyze differences: Use the Actuals Comparison table to identify where performance has improved or declined across the two periods.
- Optimize your strategy: Use the comparison results to inform decisions such as adjusting pricing or refining your marketing approach.
