Export setup

The Export Setup in RevControl helps you manage price differences between room types by setting up supplements as either a percentage or a fixed amount. In addition, you can easily view and adjust room types and their settings.

The Export Setup in RevControl allows you to effectively manage price differences between various room types. For each room type, you can set a supplement as either a percentage or a fixed amount. This makes it possible to offer larger or better-equipped rooms at higher prices, while less popular rooms can be offered at lower prices.

How does the Export Setup work?

  • Entering supplements: For each room type, you can enter a supplement as a percentage or a fixed amount. For example, a SUP room can be 40% more expensive than a STD room, while a DLX room can have a supplement of €20.00. You set this directly in RevControl.
  • Setting discounts: In addition to price increases, you can also set discounts. For example, if a Single Room is 5% cheaper than a Double Room, you enter a negative supplement.
  • Multiple base room types: It is possible to have multiple base room types. This allows you to cluster room types with similar market demand. As a result, you only need to enter the strategy once per cluster, saving time and ensuring consistency.

Where can you find the Export Setup?

You can manage the Export Setup via Settings > Mapping > Export Setup in RevControl.
