The Pickup Alert report in RevControl provides insights into recent booking activity and helps you quickly identify which days show a significant change in pickup. This report consists of two sections: the pickup totals at the top, which show the total pickup per calendar month, and the pickup alerts at the bottom, which highlight specific days with notable pickup, both positive and negative.
Where to find it?
You can find the Pickup Alert report under Reports > Business on the Books > Pickup Alert in RevControl.
What data can you see in the Pickup Alert report?
Pickup Totals (Top Section)
In the top section of the report, you can see the total pickup data per calendar month for the selected period. This provides an overview of the monthly occupancy, room nights, room revenue, and ADR (Average Daily Rate).
Pickup Alerts (Bottom Section)
The bottom section shows the pickup alerts. Here, days are highlighted that show a pickup of at least the set threshold or a negative pickup lower than the threshold. This report helps you quickly assess which days are performing well and whether this high pickup is driven by a specific group or increased market demand. Based on this information, you can make immediate price adjustments to respond to the current market situation.
Setting the Threshold
The threshold works in two ways: it filters for days with a pickup that is equal to or higher than the set value, or days with a negative pickup lower than the negative threshold value. This makes it easy to quickly identify both positive and negative trends.
Immediate Action
When you click on a date in the Pickup Alert report, a pop-up will open, allowing you to adjust prices immediately or take other actions based on the current booking activity. This makes the report a powerful tool for dynamic pricing management.
