Navigation
You can find the Group Logs under More > Logs > Group Logs in the main menu of RevControl. This section provides a chronological overview of all group requests stored in the system.
Information in the Group Logs
The logs display the following information for each request:
- Saved On: The date and time when the group request was saved.
- User: The user who processed the group request.
- Group Name: The name of the group for which the request was made.
- Business Segment: The business segment selected when creating the group request.
- Arrival/Departure Dates: The arrival and departure dates of the group.
- Result: Indicates whether the request was successfully processed (OK) or not (Not OK). A “Not OK” result can occur for several reasons, such as:
- Restrictions like a Minimum Length of Stay (MinLOS).
- Insufficient room availability for the requested period.
- Expected revenue would be higher if the group is not accepted.
Detailed Information
On the right side of each row in the log, you’ll see the “Show recommended rate” button. Clicking this provides a detailed overview of the group request, including:
- Group Summary: A summary of key details about the group, such as the number of rooms, nights, chosen rate plan, and expected revenue.
- Breakdown per day: A detailed daily view showing information like the number of rooms requested, published rates, and recommended rates. This view also includes events and the current occupancy (Business on the Books - BOB RN) per day.
