Where to Find It?
You can find the Revenue Forecast report under Reports > Forecast > Revenue Forecast in RevControl.
What Do You See in the Revenue Forecast Report?
The report displays a table with several key metrics for each month in the selected period:
- BOB: Business on the Books, showing current booking figures.
- Budget: The forecasted revenue or targets set for the period.
- Diff. Budget: The difference between the current BOB and the budgeted figures.
- Last Year: The actual performance for the same period last year.
- Diff. Last Year: The difference between the current BOB and last year’s actual figures.
- Forecast: The forecasted figures, which can be adjusted manually.
In this report, you can adjust the blue cells to manually input forecasts or budgets. These manual adjustments do not influence the pricing recommendations in RevControl (unlike in the Forecast report). Instead, they provide a way to tailor revenue expectations based on current trends and business insights.
