Published rate buckets timeline

The Published Rate Buckets Timeline provides an overview of saved and published Rate Buckets, including date, time, user, and status, allowing you to track changes and optimize your strategy.

The Published Rate Buckets Timeline in RevControl is a logbook that provides an overview of all published and saved Rate Buckets within a specific period. This logbook is essential for tracking the changes made to the Rate Buckets and helps ensure that the correct settings have been applied at the right times.

Navigation:

You can find the Published Rate Buckets Timeline under More > Logs > Published Rate Buckets Timeline. Here you can view the list of publications, sorted by date and time, and filtered by user and arrival date.

Explanation of the Columns:

  • Published On: The date and time when the Rate Buckets were saved or published.
  • User: The user who performed the publication or saving action.
  • Arrival Dates: The arrival dates for which the Rate Buckets were saved or published.
  • Result: The status of the action (e.g., “Published”).
  • Bucket: The number of saved or published Rate Buckets, with a link to view the details.

Publication Status Types:

Each action in the timeline can have one of the following statuses:

  • Pending (orange): Prices have been sent to the PMS or CM, but a response confirming the prices have been processed is still awaited.
  • Published (green): Manual export was successful.
  • Auto published (green): Automatic export via AutoPublish was successful.
  • Saved but not published (orange): Rates have been saved in RevControl, but export to the PMS or CM is disabled.
  • Auto saved but not published (orange): Automatically saved rates in RevControl, without export to the PMS or CM.
  • Publish failed (red): Export failed, with errors generated by PMS or CM.
  • Auto publish failed (red): Automatic export via AutoPublish failed.

Using the Published Rate Buckets Timeline:

This logbook helps you track when and by whom the Rate Buckets were modified or published. By clicking on “Show saved buckets,” you can view detailed information about the saved buckets, including any changes and notes.
