AutoPublish buckets

AutoPublish Buckets in RevControl allow you to automatically open or close rate buckets based on pre-set rules. This ensures efficient rate management without manual actions, with options to adjust or remove rules.

AutoPublish Buckets in RevControl allow you to automate the opening or closing of specific rate buckets based on predefined rules. This functionality ensures that your rate buckets are managed efficiently and that no manual intervention is needed during periods of fluctuating demand or predefined conditions.

How to set up AutoPublish Buckets?

  1. Navigate to Settings > Rate Buckets > Auto Publish.
  2. Add a new rule: Click on the “+” icon to add a new rule.
  3. Activate the rule: Toggle the “Active” switch to turn the rule on.
  4. Run Date Start and End: Set the start and end dates for the period during which the AutoPublish rule should be active.
  5. Arrival Date From and To: Define the range of arrival dates the rule should apply to, helping you target specific periods like busy seasons or promotional times.
  6. From X to X Days to Arrival: Enter the number of days between the booking and arrival date for which the rule will apply. For example, you can set a rule for bookings made 0 to 365 days in advance, which ensures full automation for the coming year.
  7. Save the rule: Once configured, click “Save” to activate the rule.

Managing AutoPublish Rules

You can always edit or delete existing AutoPublish rules:

  • Edit a rule: Click on the pencil icon next to the rule to make changes.
  • Delete a rule: Use the trash bin icon to remove an unwanted rule.

Caution: If you make manual adjustments to buckets, it’s advisable to lock the affected days to prevent AutoPublish from overwriting these changes.

Note: when you add a new rate bucket while AutoPublish is active, the newly created rate bucket will automatically be updated towards your PMS or channel manager. When you add new rate codes to existing buckets, it is needed to save & resend unchanged buckets for all future dates within the AutoPublish period.
