Autopublish rates

Auto Publish in RevControl automates rate updates based on rules, keeping rates up to date without manual actions. You can define rules by run dates, arrival periods, and days-to-arrival ranges.

The Auto Publish functionality in RevControl allows price adjustments to be automatically published based on predefined rules. This saves time and ensures that rates are always up to date without requiring manual actions. Below is a step-by-step guide to correctly set up Auto Publish.

Where to find Auto Publish?

You can find Auto Publish in RevControl by navigating to Settings > Rates > Auto Publish.

How to set up Auto Publish?

1. Click the plus icon in the top right to add a new rule.
2. Activate the rule by switching the toggle next to “Active.”
3. Run Date Start and Run Date End: Set the start and end dates for the period in which you want automatic publishing to be active. This can apply to specific periods, such as promotional campaigns.
4. Arrival Date From and Arrival Date To: Specify the arrival period for which rates should be automatically published. This helps target specific periods, such as high season or special events.
5. From X Days to Arrival and To X Days to Arrival: Enter the number of days between the booking date and the arrival date that the rule should apply to. For example, you can set a rule for bookings made 7 to 365 days before arrival. If you enter values of 0 and 365, the system will be fully automated for the coming year.
6. Save: Click Save to save and activate the rule.

Managing Auto Publish rules

You can always edit or delete existing Auto Publish rules:

• Click the pencil icon to edit a rule.
• Click the trash bin icon to delete a rule.
