Autopublish rates

Auto Publish in RevControl automates rate updates based on rules, keeping rates up to date without manual actions. You can define rules by run dates, arrival periods, and days-to-arrival ranges.

Auto Publish in RevControl automatically publishes rate adjustments based on predefined rules, eliminating the need for manual intervention. This keeps your rates current at all times. Follow the steps below to set up Auto Publish correctly.

Where to find Auto Publish?

Navigate to Settings > Rates > Auto Publish.

How to set up Auto Publish?

  1. Click the plus icon in the top right to add a new rule.
  2. Activate the rule: Switch the toggle next to Active to enable the rule.
  3. Run Date Start and Run Date End: Set the start and end dates during which the Auto Publish rule will be active. For example, you can limit publishing to a specific promotional campaign period.
  4. Arrival Date From and Arrival Date To: Define the guest arrival date range for which rates should be automatically published. This is useful for targeting specific periods, such as high season or special events.
  5. From X Days to Arrival and To X Days to Arrival: Set the booking lead-time window (in days before arrival) that the rule should apply to. For example, entering 7 and 365 targets bookings made between 7 and 365 days before arrival. Entering 0 and 365 fully automates publishing for all bookings up to a year in advance.
  6. Save: Click Save to confirm and activate the rule.

Managing Auto Publish rules

To edit or delete an existing Auto Publish rule, use the icons in the rules list:

  • Click the pencil icon to edit a rule.
  • Click the trash bin icon to delete a rule.

Tip: If you make manual rate changes, lock those specific days to prevent Auto Publish from overwriting them. This ensures your manual adjustments are preserved.
