      Hotel settings

      The Hotel Settings in RevControl apply at the hotel level. They are accessible via Settings > Configuration > Hotel Settings and override the System Settings.

      The Hotel Settings in RevControl can be found under Settings > Configuration > Hotel Settings. These settings apply only to the hotel you are currently logged into. If a different value is set in the Hotel Settings than in the System Settings, the Hotel Settings take precedence.

      The hotel settings are divided into the following 9 categories:

      • General

      • Business on the books

      • Business on the books import

      • Rate shopping

      • Rate recommendation

      • Group recommendation

      • Rate export

      • Rate buckets

      • Business rules

      Note: The Hotel settings are intended only for hotel configuration. To create users, go to Settings > Configuration > Users.
