Is it possible to send a "Close to arrival" restriction?

Setting a “Close to Arrival” (CTA) restriction is not possible in RevControl. However, you can manage “Close to Stay” restrictions via the Buckets Calendar to fully close rates.

RevControl offers various options for managing restrictions, such as closing rates. However, it is not possible to set a “Close to Arrival” (CTA) restriction. RevControl only supports “Close to Stay” restrictions.

What are “Close to Stay” restrictions?

“Close to Stay” restrictions completely close specific rates for a particular period. These restrictions can be used to limit the availability of specific rates, for example, during high demand.

How to set a “Close to Stay” restriction in RevControl?

  1. Use the Buckets Calendar: Open the Buckets Calendar via Rates > Calendar > Buckets in RevControl.

  2. Choose the appropriate bucket: Select the bucket you want to close for a specific period.

  3. Adjust the status: Set the status of the bucket to “Closed.”

  4. Confirm changes: Click on “Confirm all changes” to save the restriction and send it to your PMS or channel manager.
