Release notes version 5.8.x

Version 5.8 introduces usability upgrades to rates, reports, and dashboard tabs, plus fixes for Pickup Alerts, supplements, and integrations with Cloudbeds, Booking Experts, and Lighthouse. Virtual room types are now supported.

  • Rate Shopping – brand.com rate shopping issues resolved
    Fixed an issue where rate shopping did not function correctly for brand.com.
    Ensures accurate competitor rate comparison for brand.com sources.

    Fixed a bug where Pickup Alert emails were not triggered after the 5.8.0 update.

    The annual cleanup process now also removes old reservation data beyond a set threshold.

    Makes sharing views or bookmarking more reliable.

  • Rates – visual updates for min/max/lock alerts
    Improved visual styling for rate alerts, making limits and locked days clearer at a glance.
    Enhances usability and reduces configuration errors.

  • Rates – double-click to lock a day in Rates Calendar
    Added shortcut: double-click a day to quickly apply a rate lock.
    Makes manual adjustments faster and more intuitive.

  • Rates – Confirm & Lock limited to minLOS for derived room types
    Locking now only applies to minimum length of stay for derived room types.
    Prevents accidental overrides of base rate settings.

  • Reports – bed data now available in comparison reports
    Bed-level occupancy and revenue data are now shown in report comparisons.
    Useful for properties using shared room or dorm configurations.

  • Settings – Export Setup shows weekday supplements
    Supplement data by weekday is now displayed in the Export Setup overview.
    Provides more clarity when reviewing pricing exports.

  • Integrations – Booking Experts export supplement order fixed
    Supplements are now exported in the correct order for Booking Experts.
    Ensures consistency between RevControl and BookingExperts exports.

  • Integrations – performance boost with new Lighthouse API
    Switched to an updated Lighthouse API to improve response times.
    Users will notice faster data loading for competitive rate info.

  • Integrations – Cloudbeds API upgraded to v1.2
    Updated to the latest version of the Cloudbeds API.
    Enables access to newer integration features and improved reliability.

  • Integrations – support for Cloudbeds virtual room types
    Now supports both room type relationships and virtual room types in Cloudbeds.
    Better reflects complex room configurations in forecasts and exports.

  • General – redirect fixed for single-hotel users with invalid hotel code
    Resolved an issue where certain users were redirected incorrectly on login.
    Improves accessibility and prevents login failures.

  • Dashboard – errors for newly created hotels resolved
    Fixed a bug causing dashboard errors for new hotel installations.
    Ensures smooth onboarding and setup for new properties.

  • Rates – supplement error on derived room types fixed
    Corrected an issue where derived room types applied supplements incorrectly.
    Prevents unexpected rate calculations.
