I get an orange warning when saving rates

The message “Pending confirmation” or “Rate export disabled” appears when saving rates in RevControl. Depending on the message, action may or may not be required.

When you save rates in RevControl and see an orange warning, it can have two causes:

1. Message “Pending confirmation”

The full message reads:

Pending confirmation
Your rates were saved but not confirmed yet by your Channel Manager(s). Please check the logs.

Meaning:

  • The rates are saved in RevControl but have not yet been confirmed by your PMS or channel manager.

  • This is normal behavior for many PMSs and channel managers.

  • No action is required.

How to check the status:

  • Go to More > Logs > Published Rates Timeline to view the current status of the published rates.

2. Message “Rate export disabled”

The full message reads:

Rate export disabled
Your rates were saved but have not been sent, because rate export is disabled.

Meaning:

  • The rates are saved but not transmitted because rate export is inactive.

Action required:

  • Contact the RevControl Customer Success team.

  • They can activate rate export so that prices are automatically sent to your PMS or channel manager.
